Wow! What a success! Everyone worked together, and I was surprised at how much we accomplished in such a short period of time. I appreciated how those teacher candidates that didn't have artwork to share took over other jobs and everybody helped each other to get the art pieces displayed. The atrium area looks great. I'll even hazard to say that it looks better than last year.
During the art show, I was listening to comments from the students and families, and everything I heard was positive. There was so much excitement in the air and I'm glad that the families were so supportive.
One thing that I would suggest for years to come is to include the teacher candidates name on the art projects. That way, other teacher candidates would know who to talk to to gain more information on specific projects. I know we are a pretty close group, but I was thinking that this would be useful if students from other cohorts are looking for ideas.
